Worst experience I've ever had making a gun purchase. I ordered my new Benelli, and it shipped to BP at Macon and Sycamore View. There were 3 employees behind the gun counter, and all were obsessed with impressing 2 young ladies trying to purchase a handgun. My order was paid for online, and the background check took 20 minutes. 2 hours later I walked out with my gun. Three employees still trying to impress the ladies. Never once had any consideration for my time after I drove 75 miles to pick up my gun.
It was the most ridiculous and unprofessional experience I've ever encountered. I expected a lot more from Bass Pro. Never Again will I make that mistake. I had intended on buying a rifle since I was already getting background check, but never once was I asked about anything I might need.
Don't order online for store pickup the next day. I found out the hard way that they don't fill these orders from the store and it is not nextday it takes 1 to 2 weeks. Very misleading !
