At 9:45 am today It was determined that our meter was faulty and needed to be replaced. We got emails telling us we have an open ticket and our power will be restored at such and such a time. Then we get emails saying the ticket was canceled, or our ticket was complete BUT OUR POWER HAS NOT COME BACK .. each time the ticket was terminated we called the power outage phone number and were told that the service people said our power was restored .... NO ONE EVER KNOCKED ON OUR DOOR (which is 2 doors down from the meter room !!!) JUST TO MAKE SURE THE POWER WAS IN FACT ON !!!

WE HAVE NOW BEEN WITHOUT POWER ALL DAY TODAY ... and no more info from FPL ... it is now 8:30 pm

I was late with January’s payment due to illness. I then sent January and February payments together. To date the January check has not cleared in my account, but the February check has. I was then sent a letter stating that my power would be shut off for non-payment. I sent an explanation and proof of payment (photocopies of said bills.) I was then told that my power would be shut off for non-payment.) I finally decided to pay the sum of $234.30 for March and the “delinquent” January. The check did not arrive in time, and my service was subsequently shut off. I then paid it by phone, in order to get the power back. My check arrived on 3/18/2022. So I have now paid twice for January and March. I would like to know whether my second payment of $239.30 (fee included) will be refunded to me by FPL. My phone number, name and address are in your records.
Thank you.

8/23/2021 This AM an FPL contractor was checking lighting on NW 39th Street Coral Springs, Fl.. To do so the FPL contractor decided to make forward progress by running across front lawns.

On my lawn the contractor crushed a pop-up sprinkler head and left tire ruts. I must admit, the tire trenches have changed the pale of my front lawn. My neighbor, to the west, has had the look of his front lawn changed.

What is of concern is the attitude of the FPL representative registering the complaint. It is nice to know that it will be 3 days before I hear from an FPL representative. Then of course how long before a physical inspection can be completed. I guess I have to pray for RAIN.
