I’ve been a customer for 4 years or more now and usually have good experiences using this company. Recently One Guard sent a contractor out for my garage door. The door would just open and close on its own. The first person came and was there for 5 minutes told us it was our cameras interfering, unplugged the camera and left. Well that wasn’t it because it still happened. You would think he would do some sort of testing but every time a contractor comes out it seems like they don’t want to be there more than 5 minutes. So then the second contractor comes out and replaces the door motor. Great thanks but then the door stops opening all the way and we notice the door doesn’t look right. The arm that connects the garage door to the chain for the garage door motor, the bolts were never tightened and one of the nuts was on the floor and the bolt was almost out of the arm completely. Now my garage door is cracked. One guard sent someone out again who was there for also 5 minutes. Took one look at the door to tell me my door was unsafe and left. Thanks for nothing. One guard now is saying that because it’s out of the 30 day window from the installation it’s not their problem and I should call my own contractor. Thing is it is their problem because the job done incorrectly is why my door is damaged. Customer service is poor as well. After the last contractor came out called one of the customer service reps they told me they would call me within 24-48 hours. That never happened. Now 6 days later I call to speak with a manager. They tell me there’s no manager to talk to right away and they will call in 48 hours. Poor customer Service. I think I’ll be shopping around for a new home warranty if this issue is not resolved.
