My mom and dad both had Optum Rx and their part D Drug plan. we have had a few issues along the way getting prescriptions filled it was aggravating but work thru it. My Dad paid his June premium aroung the 20th of May. He went in the hospital on May 28th and passed away on June 1st. When we called to cancel his coverage due to his death we where told he would receive a refund for his June payment. It is now September and we are being told that since he did not pass away until June 1st that he would owe for the month of June...Well if he owes for the month of June he should receive his June med's. Of course he is deceased so they will not send any of his meds. My point exactly he has passed they did not fill any drugs for him in the month of June. so why does he owe for the whole month. I would understand charging him for the one Day even though he did not receive any meds but the whole month. That is just crazy. My mother and the rest of our family will be looking for a different Medicare prescription plan come open enrollment and we will not be paying anything in advance.
I rate 1 star because you have to rate something, my choice is no stars. Was billed for some medicines, paid the bill. OptumRx decided to do something other than deposit the check into my account; it went elsewhere. After 3 months of providing the proof payment, and filing a complaint with Medicare. The monies were then applied to my wife's account theough a different insurance company and use as Optum Rx wantede. The bill for $70.30 still remained; another check was provided with a l;etter providing very specific instructions as to what to do with the second check. Now I have the proff the staff of Optum Rx can not read or understand English. The money was applied to my account which nothing was due; now I have a redit of $70.30, and wife's account still has an outstanding balance of $70.30. So after 5 months of attempting to correct the problem Optum Rx has only continued the problem. When calling them, you only get idle promises of them doing something. I am going to write a ltter to the corpoprat offices to see if they can read or understand English but I will not hold my breath for their reply or correction of the problem.

Optumrx has been unable to fill a prescription for nine months always out of it I can get it filled at Walgreens in a few days how could wakgreens which is considerably smaller get it an optumrx can alway same excuse something strange is happening at optumrx they u get s letter telling u use mail order optumrx no need to travel get it delivered IS THIS A POOR JOKE U Can not GET IT FROM OPTUMRX
Been dealing with them for years and never had a problem. I recently retired and have had nothing but problems getting my medications from them. They lie about when your medication will be delivered. There wed site says that you have refills and when you try to fill it they tell you that you don't any refills, then they tell you that you have 1 refill but you have to pay a copay. Are they out of there minds. So then they go on to tell me to call my Dr and ask for a prescription. The staff is rude, they talk over you and don't listen. Half the time you can't understand what they are saying. It's sad for the people that have to deal with this kind of a company. So when I end up in the hospital due to COPD compilations they can explain why they refused to get my refills out to me.
Been with them in the Atlanta branch for several years. They allow bullies and people that dont care work there and their communication skills suck. They lie and you can not take their word for anything. Been complaining for years now and i get no where. They send out in correct medication and according to their labels expired meds. Been trying several numbers this morning and noone is even answering their phones just rings. They think irdered medication can be ordered or delivered when they want even though it is needed for the child. Been told 2 weeks now that a medication just needs to be ordered!
Lacks communication skills!
2 compliments and a complaint. The complaint is a medication was lost by USPS, I called to get the meds and was told a 10 day supplied would be expedited. 5 days later when nothing had arrived I called back, I was told the order didn't ship yet, because policy requires the initial order to be monitored for delivery. But now no meds, was told it would be shipped that day. at the end of the next day OptumRX supervisor told me the order that was supposed to be expedited yesterday was cancelled at would be shipped now today. But still for only the 10 day supply. They apparently "have to wait" for 20 days for the lost shipment to turn up. Wow! no meds for 2 full days so far. Okay, now the compliments. The customer service dept always answers quickly. The auto refill with text notifications is very helpful.
Couldn't even muster a star but had to for review. Wife has COVID, she's a type 1 diabetic and sugar has been running high. Optum rx wouldn't fill insulin refill early so she could have some insulin. Poor excuse for a company.
glycomet 1000 mg is an oral enemy of diabetic medication containing metformin as a functioning ingredient. The medication utilized is for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. It decreasing the absorption of. Accept the medication as endorsed by the specialist, preferably after dinner.
Your service is way below par . Your company treats meds as if they are candy . the attitude is " so what if you have a life threating issue , it is alright to miss a few doses "
