Had a bad experience trying to open a high yield savings account. As a current customer I was put on hold once I reached a real person. I was really disappointed with run around & finally said cancel my new savings application. Evidently they don’t want my business. Poor treatment for a existing customer. Very dissatisfied & went to another Bank who welcomed me.

If I could give them a 0 rating I would. I have two accounts that had credit limits lowered. No reason. No advance notice. Cannot call them. They then closed the two accounts. No reason. I have paid these 2 accounts and never missed a payment. I had one for Rooms to Go. I had it on auto pay for $20 per month. I checked my bank and they pulled the balance of $276 from my bank to pay the account off! I called them and on hold for 4 hours. Facebook is no good and their online chat line is no use. I called my bank to dispute the charge. I am filing a complaint with BBB. I find out they have had a class action suit against them. Maybe they are broke and need to steal customer's money to pay off the people who won against them. I never received any notice of the class action suit. Stay away from them. They are thieves and liars. When financing please take notice who they are using to finance what you bought. Get your own financing or just pay cash.

It is a disgrace that i have requested to speak to a representative at the corporate level of Synchrony bank and it has become impossible...i have 6 active accounts with this institution and no one has the common courtesy to return a call... i will be closing all my accounts...Maybe now someone will reach out...as for Mr. Brian Double I wrote a letter with no response..

Tried speaking with customer service agent 6651, who resisted transferring me to her manager...after persisting, I spoke with manager 6377526 who told me there was NOBODY above him (but he acknowledged he is not the President of Synchrony Bank). Then manager 6377526 said he had NO IDEA what the address of Brian Doubles was... and that they would do NOTHING to work with me. My account was closed without notice, with an exemplary credit history with Synchrony Bank (never missed/late on one payment) and an Experian credit score of 834... my account was cancelled and there's NO HUMAN who can re-review this... so now I'm writing to Brian Doubles, President to see if this is how he likes customers to be treated...we'll see!

Synchrony is the company that contracted with Amazon and they will not help in any way. Amazon tells me to contact the Credit card Holder about the Fraudulent Charges April 14, 2021 I received 2 Charges, One for $107.95 and the second for $70.15.

I contacted them about this and they said that I was not responsible for these Charges and they said that resolve the issue in 90 days they removed these charges. The next time I checked the charges were put back on my bill and Interest Added to the bill. I received a letter from them saying that I have received delivery of these Items. I contacted Amazon Customer services and they searched there records and found no charges of these amounts. Have contacted the Fraud Dept. again and they said it would be removed but that’s a lie!

That tells me that the Fraud was perpetrated at Amazon Prime (Synchrony Bank) and there phone numbers for help are an overseas company who are lost touch with what they’re doing. So now if I don’t pay this will affect my credit score.

The worst bank in the world. I have 4 cards with Synchrony and I considered that those employees don’t care about account and customer. You could call me after noon Eastern time at 305-776-6800

Bank doesn't know what left hand is doing with right hand in Credit Cards. Total chaos. Can't reach anyone with authority when one dept does something that non of the other depts even cared about and attitude is "I can do whatever I want to customers". "So what you've had this account and kept it paid. I can close any account I want ". "No you can't talk to MY manager as they aren't here and don't return phone calls". "No I can't give you Corp phone number". Etc...humbug excuses not to let you talk higher up when SYNCHRONY messes up.

NO STARS!! I was a credit card customer for over 13 years and was cancelled because I failed to properly cancel a autopay. Not because the payment was not made but because I made it from an account other than the original auto pay account.

This bank does noting to protect you against fraud. They pass you around on the phone and nothing else. I sent by mail attachments going through PayPal and each card separately and printouts from items I have purchased. How in 2020 you balance of $4XX.00 turn into $12XX.00 in 2021? AHHHHH!
