I have had so many issues with uhaul that my move was more difficult than it should have been.
First, I reserved a truck in Virginia Beach and ended up having to drive over an hour (108 miles) to pick up the truck and car trailer for my one way move to Florida. Uhaul did nothing to accommodate me except add 50 miles.
When I picked up the uhaul the location I picked up at was made aware of my situation and ended up crediting me enough that I could pay for insurances, but that was it.
I paid over $1400 and then over $600 in gas.
Then I get to the storage location in Ruskin, Florida, that uhaul had me choose from to get one month free and the location did not honor that. They did give me two months half off, but stated that they had asked Uhaul several times to remove them from that list, but that uhaul refused.
Now I received a text that I owe for a $2.92 toll.
Uhaul doesn’t seem to care at all for their customers and it is very disappointing.
Just because you all offer a lower rate than most shouldn’t mean that your customer service should be so low.
I have been telling my friends and family of my difficulties and I plan to also write reviews on this extremely disappointing experience.
This isn’t the first time I’ve had an issue with you all, but I was giving you another chance and for financial reasons I had no choice but to do so.
Disappointed in Uhaul yet again.
Other companies shouldn’t have to make up for your lack of care for your customers
I give you ZERO stars
You are a horrible company. You do not honor reservations to the city requested for vehicle or trailer. Left us without trailer and now making several trips in SUV. The initial truck requested was not where we made reservation, even though confirmed by email. You then charged extra for mileage as we had to drive beyond where we should have.
I give you NEGATIVE stars if I could.
