Vanguard has completely dropped the ball with me. First they sent me the wrong checks where one bounced and now they are delaying my new checks (21 business days so far). You cannot escalate a probles, there are no issue numbers assigned and they fail to followup. Supervisors take 24 hours to get & chief executives are impossible to contact.
I joined Vanguard in the late 1990's and have an IRA. Vanguard demanded I move the IRA to Brokerage which I did. When it was moved, I lost $688.17. Not a large amount unless you are 81 years old. Vanguard is designed for NO CONTACT: Trying to reach someone by telephone requires hours & waiting only to find you are not in the correct place. There is no way to Email as the computer directs you to sites that provides lists of questions with lists of answers. Have contacted Matt Benchener by letter 12-12-22, but no response.

I have wasted countless hours trying to resolve my inability to view my Vanguard accounts. Prior to November 21, 2022, I had no problem doing my accounts on my computer. On November 21, Vanguard supposedly sent me a security code (which I have always received for many years prior to this), but I did not receive That day, or any day since then. No one at Vanguard seems concerned about this they have me re-create steps that did not work. In the meantime I Lose my connection with the person I’m speaking to so I have to call back and redo everything. I have three accounts at Vanguard amounting to a significant amount of money, yet I cannot view my accounts, and no one wants to escalate this problem to help.
Vanguard is so unprofessional!! For one depending on what department you're trying to contact the wait time is ridiculous!! I applied for a Hardship Withdrawal and did everything i was told to do. They denied my withdrawal first they said it wasn't legible. Then they told me that my paperwork needed dates and everything that I mailed in or faxed in had dates on it. Speaking of hardship they made my hardship situation worse by prolonging the process and coming up with reason after reason not to give me my withdrawal. I had been running around for almost a month and it was causing me more stress and frustration than I already had.
Tried to add a bank on line. Three tries with two different browsers failed. Spent 40 minutes on the phone with someone who tried to add the bank manually. That didn't work. She ultimately told me no one knew what caused the problem and she would get back to me in a week or more. Their customer service has gone from first to worst.
Would give zero. No assistance whatsoever via customer service phone number.
I cannot get onto my account and calling your phone number listed has not been helpful. I sent in papers to get back on, and still they will not let me get back on. I fear that someone there has taken my money. I am very scared right now !!!!!
