My money savings with Wells Fargo
Yet another service taken away. I received a call from the manager at my local WF branch telling me I am no longer allowed to use the outside "night" deposit box. She further stated that the outside deposit box is for business customers only. I have used the outside "night" deposit box for at least 30 years and called another branch to confirm this is a WF directive rather than a specific branch decision. The night deposit box is even more important to me now because, in 2020, I assumed the care of two disabled family members while continuing to work my full time corporate job. Due to the newest service WF has eliminated, I must drive to the branch on a weekday, go inside the bank, stand in line, and hand the envelopes to a teller rather than the teller retrieving the envelopes from their side of the night deposit box inside the building and processing them whenever they want. I hope that others reading this see how ridiculous this is. Weekends are when I do personal stuff and I am furious.
