I have just received the most ridiculous and useless customer serves possible after booking a plane ticket. I booked the ticket 3 months ago, and immediately after realized that i had spelled my sons name using his middle name first. 30 seconds from booking, I wrote to customer service, sent the image of his passport and asked them to make the change. I received a note from customer service a few days later that they couldn't read the image, so I sent it again in 3 standard formats, and again waited, again they said they couldn't read it (.jpg and pdf) and I asked for a supervisor, they said they elevated the response and that I wasn't to reach out again until they responded. Three weeks later, and then another week later I reached out and then began calling. The connection went to India, it was almost impossible to hear and dropped frequently where I would have to call back again. I asked for a supervisor again, was told to wait, called again two days later, was told that it would be taken care of. Then I was told to reach out to the airline, who sent me back to the booking agency. And finally, now three days before my son's flight have been told by Booking.com that there is nothing that they can do to change the ticket. This is beyond ridiculous!

I booked a stay on May 2 in the evening and canceled it within 30 min due to a sudden health issue with our daughter. I called the hotel, and made SEVERAL calls to booking.com immediately that evening and the next day. According to instructions from Booking.com, these email happened:

Thank you for talking with me today.
I finally got someone at Booking.com to tell me where you needed to send an email authorizing the refunding of my reservation that was canceled.

May 24 - 28 (for the Sun Belt Baseball Tourney)
Conf# 2178485467 Pin# 0808

Please send a written authorization for at 100% refund via email to:

2178485467@my.booking.com

It is my confirmation number @booking.com

Please include me on the email message so I will know it was sent to Booking.com and I will watch for the refund by them.

Mr. Davis said that when this has happened in the past, he would give verbal approval - YOUR STAFF REFUSED TO CALL HIM AND TALK TO THE MANAGER - and INSISTED on an email to be sent to that address.

1) I called the hotel and got the approval
2) after HOURS on the phone with BOOKING.COM this was the instruction that was INSISTED UPON. To send the email from the hotel for a written approval of the cancellation.
3) The approval email was sent by the hotel manager

NO REFUND HAS BEEN ISSUED!!!

I am requesting an IMMEDIATE refund.
I am requesting an IMMEDIATE response.

probably the least responsive company to customer e-mails. either your customer service are not trained properly, or they are incompetent, or they do not understand English or they intentionally play dumb or they are really inefficient or they are not very bright or all of the above, PLUS.
I have made reservations through booking.com but cannot get copies of reservations sent to my e-mail. I have tried e-mailing your supposed customer service so call specialist to no avail. Cannot get an intelligent answer only unintelligent questions. If you are up to it, than you will read my several e-mails. They are self explanatory. MY Rating For Booking.com Is ZERO "0"
