Hello,

You guys have the worst customer service ever, I had chatted with several reps for hours and nothing was resolved. I have been without internet since March the 3rd 1st they thought it was modem when and exchanged the old modem with new modem at the optimum store it wasn’t modem then they said it was the router there was nothing wrong with router, a tech came out said it was the cable line outside that was messed up and another tech would come out 2-4 days in the mean time we had to use our phone data to use internet now it’s running super slow, was texting A rep asked if date can be reinstated to regular data rep said sure and nothing was fixed text another rep didn’t know what to do gave me a tel number called the number he said there was nothing he could do transferred me to another number couldn’t do anything because there were on the west side of optimum would have to call another number but rep wanted us to purchase more data informed her we needed a few more days because new data was going to start over rep said she could not do that transferred to supervisor she said she couldn’t do anything and she did not k ow who her supervisor was but should be getting a call back . Is this how customer service supposed to be , I work led in customer service and we would never treat our customers like optimum.

Worst customer service in the world. I thought wal-mart was bad. Talking to someone is very frustrating cuz all you get is a script head or someone who doesn’t know how to do their job. I get a call every 2-3 month saying I have service with this company and I canceled it 1.5 months after having it because the 5 techs they sent to my house couldn’t resolve the issue. It’s been 9 month to get my cancellation going because somebody keeps adding promos to my account without my approval and now I have to pay $150 for services ive cancelled 4 times now. BBB is right. They need to close this company down. I’m on Texas and I’m not happy comcast is tearing up my neighborhood either. We have Tachus fiber and it’s been great. No down services or outages the whole 9 months I’ve had them and their Wi-Fi covers my whole house even the yard and some neighbors.

I have not had cable Wi-Fi or internet for 5 days I have been calling they have been telling me a tech is coming out and no one has come out. They keep giving me the run around and I need my Wi-Fi I work from home… I had to call out for 2 days now and still no resolution.

This is the worst service provider. Their internet service is horrible!!!). The customer service is even worst. Unfortunately, they are allowed to be a monopoly in my service area, so I have no choice but to use their service.

They got some people not from this country. Taking payments i have been a loyal customer for over 3 years now all payments are on time but. Somehow we payed the. Payment before time. But payment went to some other company we think the same telephone number is for other companies to. The said how much we owed everything optimum would do the funny part is the payment all of a suddenwent to them but it wasnt even my bank account number but my bank did an investigation then it turned up. Now because some low life was steeling the payment now our. Billl went up over 20 and our. Promotion has been stopped because of the screw up optimum needs to get. People who do the job properly so this doesnt happen to good faithfull customers

My neighbor has there service trued to get it a mounth ago they keep sending texh out to my house wasting my time to tell me it may be fixed in 3 mounths and the call center people dont comunicate with any one

Optimum has the worst technical and customer service of any provider I have ever dealt with. They are now buying out providers serving rural areas where there are limited options. You expect us to be satisfied with crumbs for service and technical support. Don't tell me you're upgrading our systems when you can't connect a cable to a utility pole. My next option is to simply move so I never have to deal with you again. A rating is required so I am giving one star; if I could rate it lower than that I would. Don't invest in this company or respond to their sales pitch.

I updated service at my house from wired cable to fiber optic because of continued outages. The person I spoke with told me I could not have 2 account service at my house to put the new service in my name because the other service was in my husband’s name. I told the person I wanted the same service and the same telephone number. I was told that this would definitely resolve my internet issue. The install had all kinds of issues that a 1-day event took 3 days and my service isn't even stable. I lose service on a daily basis. I called them Saturday February 11, 2023 I had no phone no cable no internet at 9:45am. I was on hold for 2 1/2 hours and no one ever picked up the call. I got through on the chat through my cell phone and was told they had an outage. We never got service back until the next day. As days go by I’m still having issues with my internet and tv I called them and of course I’m on hold for hours at a time and the person I am talking to isn’t even in the united states. The problem can’t fix and she told me I would have to keep calling until I get the united states. I am appalled that I live in the united states and I can’t reach anyone locally after 5 times 3 hours still can’t get a rep in the united states. I continued to call when I had time and still couldn’t get through. Friday feb 24, 2023 I called my husband from my house phone he asked me where was I calling from. I told him our house, he said that’s not our phone number. I had enough I called again after 20 minutes of going through all the prompts. I get someone not from the united states and she could not fix that I had the wrong phone number to my account. I ask her if this was the united states and she told me no and to keep calling I would eventually reach the united states. I finally got someone here in the united states after 2 hours. I spoke with this girl and she was having issues fixing the phone issue as well. She said it was going to escalations and they would get back to me in 24-72 hours. I told her that was not acceptable considering I have 80 hours of phone calls about numerous issues and nothing has been resolved and no one has called me back. I want to speak to a supervisor. She put me on and off hold for over an hour and a half when I finally got an escalation specialist. I told him what’s been going on with my phone and that I want this fixed, he told me the phone number issue is fixed but it can take 6-8 hours to update. I then told him my other complaints and how I wasn’t happy with there service to my shock when I finished ranting there was no one on the line. I was disconnected. Today is February 28,2023 I’m calling my house number and it is still disconnected and I also called the new number that I shouldn’t have and that is disconnected as well. I had a message on my phone yesterday from optimum about my recent call to customer service. If I need to speak with someone to call 866-218-0626, shocked! (not really) I had to leave a message and wait for someone to call me back. I called at 11:07am and I called back by chance to see if anyone answered at 11:17am its 1 pm and I haven’t received a call and I probably wont. My biggest complaint here is there is no one that fixes or who can fix the problems here. I am going to get a bill from them and I really don’t think I should pay for anything. I am writing this complaint to the fcc for issues I am unable to get resolved by optimum there is literal no way to get in touch with someone to handle my complaint. They have not provided the service they promised. I will be contacting LFA and anyone who will get me to someone at optimum to resolve my issues and at this point and some compensation. The other issue I have is there is no other cable company I can get service from. This is a monopoly in Brookhaven town that has gone on for over 30 years and is un fair and illegal. We have laws about monopolies and New York has allowed the laws to be broken. I hope someone has more time than me and get a good lawyer. No one should have to go through this and be treated like this. It’s disgusting and very frustrating.

CUSTOMER Service in the TYLER TX area SUCKS!!!!!!! Cancelled an appointment last min. The modem was given with no co-axial cord given, No ownership of poor service given. Billing service is as dirty, no level of integrity.
